The First Annual Children's Literature Conference. There is no other conference of this kind in the greater Los Angeles Area.

We are honored to have nationally recognized authors Eve Bunting and Susan Patron in attendance to speak and answer questions.

The highlight of the day will be the presentation of the Horace Mann Upstanders Book Award, a new national children's book award.
